The apartment is located one block from the popular open air market "Marché d'Aligre" (one of the best places in Paris to buy cheeses, gourmet goodies, fresh seafood, fruits, flowers and vegetables, for incredible prices), open every day besides Mondays. This is a very pleasant area, with loads of shops; super markets galore, green areas and bistros (the Red Baron, great place to sip wine and famous for its fresh oysters, it’s just around the corner, as many other great restaurants, as the typically Parisian, L'Ebauchoir).
